Angola

Through support from the Namibian Federation, savings schemes were initiated in Southern Angola in 2004 and in Luanda in 2005. The fledgling groups have struggled to affiliate into a wider movement and remain somewhat disassociated. Recently, however, Care International and Development Workshop have begun spreading the savings methodology to other provinces, encouraging SDI rituals, and offering resources to the groups.
