Zambia
With support from the Zimbabweans, the Zambian Homeless People's Federation was first started in the resort town of Livingstone. Now, however, the Zambia Federation has expanded to over 100 savings schemes with more than 15,000 members across the country. It has its own Urban Poor Development Fund, Saliswano, and its own support NGO, People's Process on Housing and Poverty.
